NEWS DROP: ZeniMax has filed a complaint stating CTO John Carmack developed key VR technology while employed by ZeniMax. Oculus Rift says NAH BRO! “ZeniMax's Complaint falsely claims ownership in Oculus VR technology in a transparent attempt to take advantage of the Oculus VR sale to Facebook," the statement reads. "By deliberately misstating some facts and omitting others, ZeniMax makes the incredible assertion that it, a videogame software publishing company for personal computers and consoles like the Sony PlayStation, invented and developed a virtual reality hardware and software system.” Oculus wants a Jury to decide the outcome. The game's setting is unique to the Civilization series in that it takes place in the future, with mankind traveling through space and founding colonies on extraterrestrial planets after recovering from an unrevealed catastrophic event just called "The Great Mistake” In Beyond Earth, players make choices at the beginning of the game, including what organization backed their expedition, what kind of vessel they used to reach the planet, and who and what they brought to the new world, allowing players to create a customized civilization of their own. Early decisions have a significant effect on the gameplay. Long ago, Ori fell into the forest and was adopted by a bear-like creature who raises Ori as its child. A malevolent entity, Kuro, appears and takes Ori's mother from him, forcing Ori to explore the forest on his own. Initially, Ori is very weak and can only jump about. During the game, Ori meets Sein /saɪn/, who will both guide Ori on his adventure and attack enemies. As the player gains expe
