The power of your intention is palpable! Yesterday, after an abortive first attempt to record, I returned to my "studio" (I'll post a picture of it on my blog later) where it must have been 105℉, no exaggeration...sweat was pouring down my arms and face, because I have to keep the windows shut tight and everything totally sealed off, plus it was the first day of summer weather as you know, and I was sitting there next to my guest thinking "There's no way we can finish this today!" Then, I remembered all the kind words of encouragement I have received and thought, "I cannot let you down!" So I kept going. After most of a lifetime of operating under the illusion of being "on my own" artistically, this is a new paradigm. One that is so much more life-affirming. Thank you! So I sat down again with my dead guest—who was refusing to talk or move or even breathe, so annoying!—and I said, "Look, I know you're infamous... I know that Tom Robbins called you 'the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ' and that you hate cooperating with anyone, that you are in fact one of the most annoyingly obstinate people I have ever met, which I suppose comes of sourcing yourself from yourself, literally discovering the Universe within—but I promised my friends I would deliver a podcast to them. Can we try one more time? Pleeeeeze?" And he finally began to speak. And before the day was over...there was enough to make a whole interview. No one has talked to this guru, nor has he talked to anyone else, for twenty-six years. But I was able to get him to talk. He spoke on two taboo subjects: sex and death. I promise, you will have insights from his words. I know I have. So now, without further ado, I give you my first podcast. With immense gratitude to you for your belief in me, Crisman ps. It's worth it just to hear his comments on the history of the "Missionary Posture." And to learn how he thinks sex has been used as an instrument of repression. Take a listen... :) And have a most blessed day!
