Anxiety: The Hundred Million Ways It Can Go Wrong (Raw Audio)
We apologize for the audio quality of this episode! We're releasing the raw audio still, because we want you to hear our panelists' stories. We'll be back to our normal format next month.
Everyone has felt anxiety about events, such as preparing for a test, going on an interview, or meeting new people. But for people with an anxiety disorder, life can be “a thousand forms of fear,” every positive event can be followed by being trapped in thoughts of “the hundred million ways it can go wrong,” and panic attacks might overwhelm at any inopportune time.
In this podcast, join Inside Our Minds as we discuss with our panelists, Nicole and Jeff, their experiences with anxiety and how “toughening up,” “getting some guts,” and “trying some yoga” does not cure anxiety.
