This podcast talks about the Second Noble Truth which is the Truth that there is a cause of suffering. In short...the cause of suffering is attachment. But is it that we stop our suffering by becoming detached? The Second Noble Truth isn't telling us that we have to give up what we love and enjoy in life. Instead, the Second Noble Truth asks us to look deeper into the nature of craving and how we relate to the things we love and enjoy. In fact, by exploring your attachments and finding clarity in them, we become happier because we learn to crave less about the future and enjoy the present moment more. We learn to not be attached to how pleasant events make us feel. We learn to detach from the sensations of craving or aversion.
