Do I have a personal FB page? A fan page? Do I used LinkedIn? What social media platform do I use? Funnels? FB Ads? Do I create a freebie? Do I focus on having a website? Eeek! It’s enough to pull your hair out, especially when you’re looking at people who’ve been in the game for many years that you admire. First things first: BE WHERE YOU ARE! Where is the best place to begin? Sales + marketing is the foundation of your business. In order to have paying clients you must have something to offer that helps them and brings value to their lives - then you ask to get paid. Think about when you go to the supermarket, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, even a farmers market - before you buy a new product, you get a sample, right? TO SUM IT UP: having a list, an email list, is the best thing because you’re creating a tribe, as Seth Godin calls it, that is aligned with you and you can serve them as you build your community. Now you’re most likely going to say, “How do I build a list?” Before you even get started on WHAT action you’ll take to build your list I’m going to break down some things to help you out in this episode.
