Luke and Nicole thank all their loyal listeners and new listeners from Stitcher. Luke reminds everyone that Stitcher app is available for most smart phones, tablets and Kindle Fire. The Foodie Friends open the podcast by talking about recent, and probably last, trip to The Bite of Seattle. They talk about how this festival is no longer for foodies and recommend skipping this event and heading to Kirkland Uncorked instead. Luke and Nicole also suggest heading over to Toulouse Petit, Peso’s or any other excellent Seattle restaurant for a better bite of Seattle cuisine at a more reasonable price. Luke continues with a raving recommendation for Eat Local, a local establishment looking to share their passion for local, organic and great tasting food-even on the go. Eat Local specializes in gourmet frozen foods, but carries tons of other products, all handmade and locally sourced. The Foodie Friends close the podcast by telling listeners of the upcoming college-focused content on the blog including cheap and nutritious recipes, cookbook recommendations and more! Stay tuned and stay hungry!
The Foodie Friends would like listeners and readers to comment below or write on their Facebook wall about what they would like to hear on the podcast or in a blog article-anything at all!
