The entire ridiculous process of becoming and planning for the birth of my first son lead me to come to a slow realization. Men, and thus, fathers ain't sh*t; at least that's what the world wants everyone to believe. When looking for books to read about fatherhood, I recognized that the books weren't written to help fathers be better fathers; they were written to help fathers help mothers. Everything seemed ALL WRONG, and then it all became clear. Being a husband and father is ALL A SET-UP! It's a set-up to fail! They want us to fail. (shout out to DJ Khaled). My podcast, and the material I plan to cover in the presentation is all about my journey towards finding The Idea of Manhood.
