Hey everybody. We've got something special for you this week! As you may remember in our introductory episode of A Fit & Able Life we said we weren't just planning a single show. We were going whole hog and hosting a full podcast network. Very soon we will be launching our next show, Fit & Able Kids. To help get you ready for the big day, we are giving you this preview of one of the first shows to go live. Please welcome Nick Trombetta! He's not only a dynamo athlete in his own right but is also the son of one of Fit & Able's earliest athletes (and early A Fit & Able Life guest), Grace Ueng. Nick is currently a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill but he has always loved being involved in sports. Growing up he played baseball and lots of other sports. However, despite being very active, he had insecurities about how in shape he was. But while in high school at Cary Academy he found a passion for running. And from there he just took off. Now that he is in college he's taken his health and fitness to the next level with going full vegan. Although he still runs, he is now an enthusiastic member of the Carolina Handball Team. He's also planning on developing his on Food Policy major. You can also watch this episode on YouTube The ONE Big Takeaway Staying focused while running.
