Jessica and Kevan welcome Amber Sherrard to the podcast. Amber will also be interning at WE Fit Wellness™ (and Find Your Fit™). She is a registered dietician and a yoga instructor. Amber tells us about the new studio where she teaches yoga. The name of the studio she teaches at is Ambassadors of Light. It operates on an “open contribution” or “donation based” model. That means that if you take a yoga class, you pay whatever you can/want whether it’s $2 or $100. If you cannot pay, then you don’t pay. This way anyone has the chance to benefit from yoga regardless of the ability to pay. There are many “open contribution” or “donation based” studios across the U.S. They are growing in popularity.
