In this episode, host and elite coach Ryan Riell of Endurance Sports University flies solo to break down two articles he came across on the inter-webs. The first article is titled “4 Off-Season Cycling Rules By Bethany Rutledge. Coach Ryan digs into the main points and shares his 10 years of coaching experience and the knowledge gained from earning a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. The second article is from elite coach Bobby McGee, titled “Quality vs Quantity in Running.” This article review is packed full of tons of “little” tips that will make a huge difference for you in training and while racing. The last segment of this episode will break down the publically available power files provided by the professionals to Training Peaks for the 2016 IRONMAN World Championships. Coach Ryan gets into the details of reading the power files and analyzing the race for multiple professional athletes as well as comparing the 2016 files to some of the top performances from the past.
