This means that what we consider AI today will no longer be considered AI in the future. This is because once people understand how something “intelligent” works, they no longer believe it is truly intelligent. For example, Apple’s Siri would have been considered marvellous AI 40 or 50 years ago, but today people understand it as voice recognition software, not as artificial intelligence.
