Episode 1 – Welcome to The Click Cartel Podcast!
My name is Christian Grattan and I’ll be your host for this inaugural episode.
First and foremost:
Thank you for tuning into the first of what I hope will be a ton of entertaining, educational, and all-in-all great conversations!
This podcast has one huge goal that I think you’re going to love; helping you to get more clients, make more money, and create a business out of your passion for photography.
This episode will be a little different since it’s a solo job, but I hope to give you some great insights into who I am and what to expect as we continue down this path together.
As for me, I am a New Yorker who is proud to run a photography business (as you might have guessed, a six-figure photography business). I know the power of giving and am truly eager to get you going towards your goals. My photography life began 20 years ago in editorials and I eventually moved into the private sector. I am truly blessed to have worked with some huge brands like Vogue, InStyle, Glamour, New York Magazine, WWD, and Vanity Fair. These names got me to where I am, but what I had to do to build a six-figure business was find my niche. Believe it or not, that niche is Bar and Bat Mitzvahs! I do about 20 projects a year and pretty much have my summers free. It’s a pretty sweet gig, and I feel lucky to be able to provide a service to families on some truly life changing important days.
In a nutshell, that’s my story as a pro, and I hope you look to me as a resource, but I believe what you can truly gain from this podcast is the knowledge and tricks of others. These episodes will mainly be interviews of other successful photographers. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that there is no reason to reinvent the wheel. Hopefully, this podcast will show you a few options that others pros have used so can get your business going, your client list growing, and the cash flowing (rhyming is always good by the way).
There are two things that you can expect from every interview:
1. How the interviewee gets clients
2. What he or she is really good at
