Informative but Annoying
The show is informative and the guy does know his stuff. However, I find it extremely annoying how he laces small clips of songs constantly into the topics. I understand you're trying to give a taste of the music, but it's usually 70% of an episode and the clips oftentimes leave you wishing he just played the whole song.
Also, all the episodes eventually just devolve from the overall topic into a short blurb about another band from the genre for 30-60 seconds and 2 minutes of a song by them. It kind of feels like he's artificially lengthening the episodes.
The news at the end should also just be left off. You're creating a record of metal history that people should want to start at the beginning of. Honestly I doubt they care about the news from that week or month.
My suggestion is to listen to the episodes at a faster speed (2xs for instance) and just skip the song clips and the news section. Then just listen to the songs in the show notes on Spotify or Youtube to get an actual feel of the music. You can fly through the episodes in 15 minutes or so that way.
