The Beers (Duvel, Grimbergen, Kasteel)
In this episode, we continue our tour through the beers of Belgium. This time we're going with Duvel, Grimbergen and Kasteel which we taste and give our thoughts. As usual, aside from the beer we also have some topics we'll be discussing:
Patrick digs into Detroit shutting off water on people who are behind on their bills...
Woody discovers he's actually a "millennial" and how millennials are changing the face of travel...
Fernando tackles the Hobby Lobby case...
Detroit Water Shutoff Dilema
Patrick kicks off the show tasting Duvel... the beer from Moortgat Brewery. He'll talk about the drama between the UN and the city of Detroit. Seems like the city is sending shutoff notices and even shutting off the water on people that are delinquent on their bills.
Hobby Lobby and the Supreme Court Case
Fernando goes ahead with tasting the Grimbergen beer. His topic is the very controversial Hobby Lobby case. The day before recording the show, the Supreme Court ruled that Hobby Lobby could not be forced to pay for contraception it feels goes against the owner's religious beliefs.
Millennials and Travel
Wrapping up the show is Woody. He'll be tasting the beer Kasteel. His topic is near and dear to his heart. As it turns out, he's a "millennial" though he had no idea he was (he thought he was Gen-Y - turns out they're the same). He gets into some of the facts about millennials and how they have some interesting travel habits.
