Welcome to the very first episode of the Movement Medicine podcast with your host, me, Aaron Alexander. This episode will just be about 5 minutes long and give you a brief understanding of the intentions and goals of the show.
So, there is so much questionable information out there about the best practices of diet, exercise and general lifestyle choices. To solve this dilemma of questionable info, I have brought together the worlds most trusted leading experts and movement masters to discuss their perspectives and share tools on how to create optimal health starting NOW. No more waiting until tomorrow or next week.
There is a serious link missing in our health care system and that link is vitality. Average is broken and I am asking for the listeners of this show to form a tribe committed to exceptional. We know where to go when we completely break down but we rarely are taught about self maintenance so the wheels never come flying off in the first place.
If we are not becoming just a little bit more sophisticated both physically and mentally every single day, than we are undoubtedly missing some crucial components of a healthy lifestyle.
It is this physical sophistication that escapes us when we are sitting in our chairs, driving in our cars and linearly moving in our gyms. I want to challenge you to think outside of the box and recognize that evolution is dependent upon those of us willing to be different.
Moving well in your body is bigger than just bicep curls and bench press. Your body is an expression of how your feeling at a deeper level and thus we will be diving into the minds of everyone from olympic athletes to experts in health care, style, nutrition, sex and of course movement.
